Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WestImmo) is specialised on commercial real estate financing. Portigon AG (until 1 July 2012 WestLB AG) carved out all shares in WestImmo to Erste Abwicklungsanstalt (EAA), based in Düsseldorf, end of August 2012. The carve-out took effect upon entry in the commercial register on 17 September 2012. WestImmo is thus a fully owned subsidiary of the EAA. As an issuer of Pfandbriefe and bonds, WestImmo stands for stability and reliability. Our mortgage bonds have been given the AA rating by ratings agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P). WestImmo is supervised by the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin – Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) and is affiliated to the Sicherungsreserve (Guarantee Fund) for the Landesbanken/Girozentralen (state banks/central giro institutions) in the Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband e.V. (German Giro and Savings Banks Association).
