The goal of its founder, David Cegan, was to establish a staffing firm that recruited well-educated and highly-motivated professionals in an ethical and confidential manner. This principle has remained unchanged throughout the history of the firm. At the time The Financial Search Group, Ltd. was founded, the economy was strong, jobs were everywhere and the recruiting industry was one of the most profitable industries of the day. However, in the late 1980's and early 90’s the economy changed and our country entered into one of the worst recessions it had ever seen. As a result, jobs were much more difficult to find and the recruiting industry suffered great losses. Sadly, many firms were forced to close their doors.
