1961 Mervyn Page commenced public practice with the aim of providing clients with a unique personal service. 1977 Gregory Harrison FCA joined the practice and Page Harrison & Co was established. 1982 Jake Johnstone, FCA joined the firm and became a director in 1989. Jake specialises in International and Australian income tax and the structuring of businesses. The firm has a strong speciality in the entertainment and sports industries. Jake is a registered company auditor through the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, an ASIC registered self-managed superannuation fund auditor and a registered tax agent through the Tax Practitioners Board of Australia. 1983 Jeffrey Pails CA joined the firm after commencing his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 1968 and became a director in 1985. Jeff specialised in Australian tax, superannuation and audit. 1990 Jason Rochaix, CA joined the firm and became a director in 2000. In completing his Professional Year at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, his accounting module result ranked within the top 5% nationally. Jason specialises in accounting and its application to financial reporting, taxation and business services. Jason is a registered company auditor through the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, an ASIC registered self-managed superannuation fund auditor and a registered tax agent through the Tax Practitioners Board of Australia. 2010 Gregory Harrison FCA retires from the practice after 40 years in the accounting industry providing accounting and wealth creation services to our clients. 2013 Jeffrey Pails CA retires from the practice after 30 years in the accounting industry providing accounting, tax and superannuation strategies to our clients. 2013 Chris Hughes, CPA joined the firm in 2004 and became a director on 1 July 2013. Chris is a Certified Practising Accountant and specialises in superannuation and Australian tax. He is a CPA accredited self-managed superannuation fund specialist and an ASIC registered self-managed superannuation fund auditor. Chris is a registered tax agent through the Tax Practitioners Board of Australia and also a chartered tax advisor through the Tax Institute of Australia. 2013 Stuart Hinton CA originally joined the firm in 2004 before venturing off to work in the mid-tier firms in Sydney to gain his experience in audit and financial reporting. He re-joined the firm in 2008 and became a director on 1 July 2013. Stuart specialises in audit and assurance and in accounting in its application to financial reporting. Stuart is a registered company auditor through the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and an ASIC registered self-managed superannuation fund auditor. Stuart also obtained his certification as a fraud examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and as a chartered tax advisor through the Tax Institute of Australia.
