Global Leadership Team

Jude T. Driscoll, President of MetLife Investment Management (MIM)

Jude Driscoll is President of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). In this role, he is responsible for driving MIM’s strategy and business operations and for the management and performance of our investment capabilities.

Prior to this role, Jude was Global Head of Fixed Income and Private Capital for MIM. Jude joined MIM in September 2017 in connection with the acquisition of Logan Circle Partners (LCP) where he was Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to founding LCP, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Delaware Investments. He joined Delaware Investments in 2000 as the Head of Fixed Income, and in 2003, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. During his time at Delaware Investments he built a private capital business. Prior to joining Delaware Investments, he was Senior Vice President of the fixed income group and Director of Investment Processes at Conseco Capital Management from 1998 to 2000. Jude was previously a Managing Director of NationsBanc Montgomery Securities from 1996 to 1998, and he was Head of Utility Trading for Goldman Sachs from 1991 to 1996. His first tenure at Conseco began in 1989, where he served as Vice President, Portfolio Manager.

A native of Boston, Jude received a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the FINRA Series 7 (Registered Representative) and Series 24 (Supervisory Principal) licenses.

Timothy Rabe, Global Head of Public Fixed Income

Timothy (Tim) Rabe is Global Head of Public Fixed Income for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). He is responsible for the management and performance of our fixed income investment capabilities, including our global credit platform, which offers the full spectrum of credit solutions

Prior to this role, Tim was Head of High Yield and Banks Loans for MIM. Fixed Income group. He is responsible for leading the High Yield and Bank Loans Portfolio Management team and all HY strategies.

Tim joined MIM in September 2017 in connection with the acquisition of Logan Circle Partners (LCP). Prior to joining LCP in 2007, he was Head of High Yield at Delaware Investments, a High Yield Portfolio Manager at Conseco Capital Management, and a Tax Analyst at Northern Trust Company.

Tim earned a B.S. in Finance from University of Illinois. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Joseph Pollaro, Chief Operating Officer

Joseph Pollaro is an Executive Vice President and serves as Chief Operating Officer for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). In this role, he is responsible for client service operations, client reporting, outsourced service provider management and he has oversight for all shared service functions. Joe also co-leads our licensed investment management subsidiaries in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo as well as MetLife Investments Securities Limited, the broker/dealer specifically established to support the needs of our third-party business.

Joe also serves as head of global investments operations. In this role, he is responsible for trade support for general account investing activities, delivering all aspects of operational support for the derivatives portfolio and serving as the data governance steward providing required reporting needs. The group also coordinates large-scale global projects and work-flow redesign activities, oversees the performance of external vendor relationships and manages efficiency programs for MIM.

Joe has over 30 years of experience leading large-scale operations functions within the investment management, insurance and retail brokerage businesses across a broad range of financial products. Prior to joining MIM, Joe was a managing director at Morgan Stanley, serving in a number of senior assignments spanning global operations, global client and portfolio servicing, customer call centers, operational risk, and service provider management. In addition to his functional experience, he also led a number of significant infrastructure initiatives including trading and record-keeping platform upgrades. Prior to that, Joe was at Prudential Financial serving in a variety of senior roles across the insurance, annuity and fund servicing businesses.

Joe holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 99 licenses.

John McCallion, Chief Financial Officer, MetLife, Inc. and Head of MetLife Investment Management

John McCallion is chief financial officer, MetLife, Inc., and head of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). He is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team. In these roles, McCallion is responsible for all financial management matters, including financial reporting, treasury, corporate actuarial, tax, investor relations and mergers and acquisitions, and oversees MIM’s approximately $600 billion in total assets under management.

McCallion served as MetLife's treasurer from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer of MetLife's EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region, based in London, from 2012 to 2016. In this role, he was responsible for all financial management matters for EMEA, including financial reporting and analysis, capital planning, pricing, actuarial, tax and risk management.

As MetLife's head of investor relations from 2011 to 2012, McCallion managed and coordinated the presentation of the company's financial results, messages and strategies to the analyst and investor community. He also previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of MetLife's investments department, managing financial analysis and reporting for more than $450 billion in investments.

McCallion joined MetLife in July 2006 after spending 10 years in PricewaterhouseCoopers' insurance audit practice, where he worked with multinational and U.S. clients in the life and property/casualty insurance industries.

McCallion earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Syracuse University, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, and is a certified public accountant.

Mike Yick, Chief Financial Officer & Head of Strategy

Mike Yick is the chief financial officer and head of strategy for MetLife Investment Management (MIM) and is a member of MIM’s Management Committee. He joined MetLife in May 2004 and is responsible for the global financial management of the investment advisory business, which includes financial reporting, planning and analysis, capital management and the controllership function for the investment funds and structures offered by MIM. As head of strategy for MIM, Mike is responsible for partnering with the senior leadership of MIM to assess and prioritize global growth opportunities through organic initiatives and M&A.

Prior to his current role, Mike was responsible for financial analytics and the financial management of MetLife’s General Account portfolio. In addition, Mike served as the chief financial and chief operating officer of the alternative investment unit within MetLife’s investment department. Before joining the investments team, Mike was an assistant vice president in MetLife’s finance organization where he was responsible for the financial reporting of MetLife’s retail business segment. Prior to joining MetLife, Mike was the controller of the private equity firm, Ripplewood Holdings LLC, the assistant controller of the asset management division at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC, and was a senior accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP in the audit practice with a focus in the financial services industry.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and an MBA in finance from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Claudia Cromie, CFA Chief Risk Officer

Claudia Cromie is the Chief Risk Officer of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Claudia is responsible for monitoring, assessing and advising on fiduciary, non-financial and financial risks of MIM and overseeing portfolio positioning against investment views and strategies. She assumed this position in 2022.

Claudia joined MetLife in 1990 as a credit analyst and has held a variety of investment positions, primarily in corporate credit analysis. She was a founding member of MetLife’s London Investments office from 1993 to 1996. Following her relocation back to the United States, she served as chief of staff to the chief investment officer. Claudia subsequently worked in a number of areas, including private placements, private equity, public high yield and leveraged finance. She was a credit strategist from 2011-2016, ran credit research until 2018 and was the head of Portfolio and Risk Analytics until she assumed her current responsibilities.

Claudia received her undergraduate degree in economics from Trinity College and holds an MBA in finance and international business with honors from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is a CFA® charterholder.

Kerry O’Brien, Global Head of Insurance Asset Management and Liability Solutions

Kerry O’Brien is global head of Insurance Asset Management and Liability Solutions for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). She is responsible for the execution of investment strategies for the MetLife general account, helping drive growth in MIM’s third party insurance client channel as well as working with teams to drive liability solutions across other client segments.

Prior to joining MIM in December 2024, Kerry served as head of insurance at Insight Investments, a subsidiary of BNY. Prior to Insight Investments, Kerry was a portfolio manager and Head of Emerging Markets and Sovereign Credit at AIG. In her over 35 years of experience, she has also held senior positions at SwissRe, Munich Re Capital Management, and Dreyfus.

Kerry earned an M.B.A in Finance from Hofstra University and a B.S. in Business Administration from LeMoyne College.

Robert Merck, Global Head of Real Estate and Agricultural Finance

Robert R. Merck is a Global Head of Real Estate and Agricultural Finance at MetLife Investment Management. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company's commercial mortgage and equity real estate portfolio, as well as its agricultural investments portfolio. In this capacity, Robert oversees a staff of approximately 350 investment professionals, both domestic and international.

Robert started his career with MetLife in 1982 and has served in various capacities in real estate investments. Since assuming overall responsibility for the real estate and agricultural portfolios, he has implemented strategic initiatives and a risk management focus that have strengthened the portfolios, raised the profile of the franchise, and positively impacted the financial results of the business. Under Robert, the commercial and agricultural mortgage portfolios have quadrupled in size and the platforms have expanded internationally. Under his leadership, MetLife has diversified its real estate equity portfolio, in part through the $5.4 billion sale of Peter Cooper Village / Stuyvesant Town, one of the largest real estate transactions in history. In addition, Robert was responsible for launching the firm’s new investment management business in 2012.

Robert received a B.B.A. from Emory University and earned his M.B.A from Georgia State University. Robert is an Executive Sponsor of MetLife’s Military Veterans Network. He also serves on the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Emory Goizueta Business School and is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute.

Matthew Mosca, Senior Managing Director, Global Head of the Institutional Client Group

Matthew (Matt) Mosca is a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of the Institutional Client Group for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). He is responsible for leading the firm’s institutional client strategy, the delivery of MIM's platform of investment solutions to institutional clients globally, and overseeing relationship management, consultant relations, and product strategy.

Prior to joining MetLife in 2019, Matt spent over 25 years at BlackRock where he held several senior leadership positions. Most recently at BlackRock, Matt served as Head of Strategy for the Official Institutions Group where he oversaw strategy, business development and operations for BlackRock’s relationships with sovereign institutions. During his tenure, he also served as Chief Operating Officer of BlackRock’s Institutional Client Business where he was responsible for overseeing group operations and client service for BlackRock’s institutional clients. Matt has experience working with institutional investors across the globe including his days as Head of Nomura BlackRock Asset Management in Japan.

Matt earned a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University. He holds the FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 24 licenses.

Beth Moreau, Managing Director

Beth Moreau leads Strategic Initiatives for MetLife Investment Management (MIM).

Beth joined MIM in 2019, holding roles as the head of the Public Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist team and head of Public Fixed Income strategy. Prior to joining MIM, she was a senior portfolio specialist at Morgan Stanley Investment Management focused on structured product, credit, core based, and global strategies. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Beth was a manager in Asset Management and Trust Services and a Stable Value accountant at The Vanguard Group.

Beth received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in finance and accounting from LaSalle University. She holds the certified financial planner license and FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Laura Manley, Chief Marketing Officer

Laura Manley is the chief marketing officer for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). In this role, she is responsible for building greater awareness and familiarity of MIM’s capabilities and expertise, increasing investor engagement with MIM throughout the sales pipeline and driving client loyalty. She has accountability for brand management, client insights, thought leadership, digital marketing and marketing sponsorships.

Laura joined MIM in October 2019. Prior to joining MIM she was CMO – Americas for BNP Paribas Asset Management. She also held the roles of global head of institutional marketing and regional head of marketing for North America at BNP Paribas Asset Management. Before those roles, she was the head of U.S. business strategy for ABN AMRO Asset Management. She also spent over 10 years in management consulting working on marketing and strategy issues for financial services companies.

Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree in international economics from Georgetown University and an MBA in finance and marketing from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Israel Grafstein, Global Chief Compliance Officer

Israel Grafstein is Global Chief Compliance Officer, Investments Compliance. In this role, Israel leads the global compliance program for Investments, including MetLife Investment Management (MIM) and MetLife Insurance Investments (MII), as well as for MetLife Investors Distribution Company (MLIDC), and MetLife Investments Securities, LLC (MISL), our U.S. registered broker-dealer. Israel is the senior vice president and 38a-1 Compliance Officer for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Metropolitan Tower Life Insurance Company.

Israel joined MetLife in March 2021 from JPMorgan, where he was the global legal head of Managed Investments for their asset and wealth management business. Previously, he was deputy to the chief compliance officer of JPMorgan Investment Management, where he led compliance for multi asset solutions and insurance, investing in equities, private funds, real estate, and fixed income. He has also held legal and compliance leadership positions with several other asset management organizations, including New York Life, Morgan Stanley, and Citigroup.

Israel received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and an MBA from Baruch College.

Brian Funk, CFA Global Head of Private Capital

Brian Funk is Global Head of Private Capital for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). In this role he is responsible for a more than $120 billion portfolio of private debt investments, including investment grade corporate credit, infrastructure debt, middle market capital, residential whole loan investment and securitization, alternative investments, investment management oversight, workouts, sustainable investment strategies, and index strategies. Prior to his current role, Brian was the Global Head of Credit Research for Fixed Income at MIM where he was responsible for overseeing corporate, municipal and sovereign credit research as well as special situations and sustainability research.

Brian joined MIM in September 2017, in connection with the acquisition of Logan Circle Partners (LCP) by MetLife. Prior to joining LCP in 2007, he was the director of research for the fixed income team at Delaware Investments. While at Delaware Investments he helped build a private credit business. Prior to joining Delaware Investments, Brian served as a research analyst for Conseco Capital Management’s fixed income group, specializing in paper, forest products, chemicals, and special situations regarding distressed debt analysis. He has 27 years of industry experience.

Brian received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Colgate University. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Hugh McCrory, Chief Counsel

Hugh McCrory is Chief Counsel for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). In this role, Hugh leads the Investments Law section, which includes over 40 investment lawyers who provide a broad array of legal services in support of MIM. They provide counsel on investment management agreements, fund formation and investment management regulation; private placements, commercial real estate debt & equity transactions and agricultural loans; structured debt and equity investments; portfolio management, derivatives and securities lending activities; workouts; and investment law compliance. The team’s primary business partners are MIM professionals located in the U.S., U.K., Chile, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong.

Before joining MetLife’s Investments Law section in 1996, Hugh was a corporate lawyer for 10 years at Chadbourne & Parke LLP (merged with Norton Rose Fulbright in 2017) with a diverse practice, including mergers & acquisitions, securities offerings, commercial lending and a concentration in international project finance.

Hugh holds a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in economics from Boston College and earned his Juris Doctor cum laude at Boston College Law School. He is member of the New York and Connecticut Bars. Hugh is a Fellow and past President of the American College of Investment Counsel.
