Edgewood Capital is a private real estate firm founded in 2002 that provides flexible capital to real estate entrepreneurs and sources opportunistic investments for accredited investors, private family offices, pension funds, and other institutional investors. Since 2010, Edgewood Capital has funded over $480 million in over 95 real estate debt and equity transactions. Edgewood provides both real estate entrepreneurs and accredited investors value-added solutions. For real estate entrepreneurs, we are a special situation lender that can provide funding for complex or unique financing situations. For our accredited investors, we provide the opportunity to invest directly into real estate debt and equity deals or to invest through an Edgewood managed Fund and achieve higher returns than are available from other investments. Edgewood Capital is led by three seasoned real estate professionals, who collectively have completed several billion dollars of commercial real estate transactions. Principals Thomas McDevitt, Michael House, and Jonathan Levirne average over 20 years experience investing in complex real estate transactions. The Edgewood professionals have held leadership positions at some of the top institutions in the United States, including Salomon Brothers, Citibank, Societe Generale, Standard & Poor’s, GE Capital, AIG, and Sonnenblick Goldman.
