Zev Gitalis thrives on thinking outside the box. Since joining Gitalis Real Estate in 1998, he has played a key role in shaping the dynamic Liberty Village community, notably through the development of the Light Factory. Specializing in office leasing and commercial sales, Zev also leads the firm’s boutique residential real estate services, providing clients with an exclusive, tailored experience in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving market.

Abe Gitalis believes that imagination is one of his greatest assets. In 1974, he founded Abe Gitalis Real Estate—now Gitalis Real Estate—with a vision to transform industrial factory buildings surrounding Toronto’s financial core into high-tech, high-impact business spaces. Today, while advising a dedicated team of professionals, Abe also focuses on managing and growing his own real estate investments, ensuring both his clients and his portfolio thrive.

JOEL NEUMAN, Vice President - Investments, Salesperson

Joel Neuman has been a trusted advisor in commercial real estate since 1988, specializing in leasing and sales in downtown Toronto’s West district. With deep expertise in securing bespoke commercial spaces, he helps clients find the right fit for their unique needs—whether industrial, creative, or beyond. Joel also plays a key role in major land development deals, delivering exceptional results that drive growth and expansion across Toronto and the GTA.

CHRIS WALASEK, Broker

Chris Walasek takes a straightforward, honest approach to commercial real estate. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, he has been active in the industry since 2005, specializing in brick-and-beam office leasing and vintage factory conversions. A Dalhousie economics graduate, Chris also has extensive experience in financial planning with the Royal Bank of Canada and was recognized as one of Canada’s top barter brokers. Beyond real estate, he is a Hockey Canada Award-winning Level 4 competitive coach, having scouted and coached talent across all levels since his start in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
